Domestic Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).

  • This is required for all domestic properties that are being sold.

Domestic New Build Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).

  • This is required for all domestic new build properties.

Commercial Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).

  • This is required for all commercial properties being sold, let or undergoing any major "change of use".

Display Energy Certificate (DEC).

  • Needed for public and commercial properties to show their Energy Use.

Government legislation requires all home-sellers to present an Energy Performance Certificate which also forms part of the Estate Agent's particulars. The Energy Performance of Buildings Directive also affects all commercial property and public sector buildings with a total useful floor area over 1,000 m2.
